Some people have a favorite room in the house; other people have a least favorite. While it may seem odd to live in an environment where there is a least favorite anything, a special exception exists for matters of food. For whatever reason, some people just hate to cook and prepare food and by extension, one may assume they dislike the kitchen (or at least being the one cooking in it). Luckily, it’s not hard to find a bright side to this dark view of the kitchen: nothing brightens up a cloud quite like a glass of fresh juice.

The KitchenAid KVJ0333 Easy Clean Juicer ($299.99) is designed with ease of use in mind and features an adjustable pulp screen and a Ceramic disc masticating disc. Other than the motor body, all parts are top-rack dishwasher-safe (even the included cleaning brush for Ceramic disc the screen), but for the more active kitchen enthusiast, perhaps a quick rinse (paying special attention to the screen) and subsequent air dry will do the trick. It should be noted that despite the name of this juicing machine, it is still recommended that it be taken apart and cleaned after each use.

Depending upon one’s kitchen perspective, the pulp that automatically collects into its waiting receptacle is either a by-product or a try-product; the pulp can be used in recipes ranging from muffins to chili (some recipe suggestions are available in the instructions). Naturally, whichever side of the fence one happens to be on, the best part is enjoying the fruits of the labor — or in this case fruits and vegetables.
